Wayne's story
We are retired, and have driven our passion coupe, two times to Florida, and once to Texas. While going down highway 75 near Atlana, a semi, directly in front of us blew a tire, throwing a large piece of rubber hurtling airborne towards us. Other traffic prohibited evasive action, plus there was no time. The rubber hit the left front of "smiley" and we ran over it. The impact was so great, I just knew the radiator and suspension was badly damaged. When we pulled over to examine, we found only a small black mark on the left fender. We continued our trip of three thousand miles, and Smiley performed perfectly. I am amazed at the construction of this little car.
